Statistics show that DJs carry 75 to 80% of the responsibilities at the wedding. Many couples attribute 80 to 90% of the success of their reception to their DJ. Yet only 5% (or less) of the total budget is spent on entertainment in many cases.
Some rates start so low that it’s not a sustainable business model. It seems like you’re paying only 8 hours of services but in fact you’re paying for a whole lot more. On average, we (Dynamix Productions) put 20 to 40 hours into a wedding or event.
